Down and Dirty: Las Vegas Time Shares
You've probably heard the unofficial slogan of Las Vegas: What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Let's talk about all of the fun that you can have in Sin City.
Let's be realistic, about 99% of the activity in Vegas is centered around the Strip, where the best casinos, bars, night clubs, restaurants and shows are located. If you aren't staying on the Strip, you really are wasting your vacation.
Las Vegas is a city that people are drawn to. Once they go, they want to come back year after year, because they can really cut loose. Business people have realized this and are trying to make a buck on tourists by selling Las Vegas time shares. This may sound like a reasonable ides, especially if you go to the city every year. In reality it is probably a terrible idea for one reason: location.
The vast majority of Las Vegas time shares aren't close to the Strip, so you would definitely need wheels to get around (and then you have to worry about having a designated driver to get you back safely). Also, what happens when you want to take that fabulous person you just met back to your room? If you're on the Strip, it's going to be pretty easy to get back, but by the time you get to your Las Vegas time share, the passion will probably have already worn off.
Having a great time in Las Vegas means doing things that you normally wouldn't do at home. Las Vegas time shares don't mix into this equation, because you won't be able to have fun. Sometimes simple works and having a cheap room somewhere on the Strip will be easier than a deluxe Las Vegas time share out in the middle of the desert. Plus, who goes to Las Vegas to sleep?
