Gurus and the Art of Selling Time Share Property
Selling time share property is all the rage these days mainly because many individuals have made huge profits in such ventures. Of course, this has also led to a number of "time share gurus" to come out of the woodworks with their informational products designed to teach you all you need to know about making millions in time share sales. It's always millions. Never 5% growth; nope, it is always a multi million dollar killing! Why is this? Because without a great deal of hyperbole it would be tough to sell enough "guru kits" to cover the advertising budget. Now, this does not mean that every guru out there is a huckster. Regardless of how over the top an ad campaign may be the product will always be judged by its merits and if it is a solid product then it deserves praises. But how do you know which product is worthwhile and which one is not without making a purchase? Well, this is where a little due diligence comes in handy!
It is always a smart idea to check the ratings of any mail order company with the Better Business Bureau. If the company is one that is less than legitimate then the BBB rating will disastrously reflect the company's negativity. At one time, performing such searches was difficult but thanks to the internet the process has become much easier so there is no excuse for not performing a search. Additionally, look at the number of "resolved disputes" the company has amassed. This means complaints that were filed but settled. Honestly, do you really care if they settle a serious customer complaint? Would you not prefer a company that had no complaints lodged against it in the first place? Again, there is nothing wrong with a marketing guru if the product being sold is valuable and you need to do a little research in advance to ascertain the value. If not, you may find yourself ripped off.
