Sell My Time Share Online, and Get Rid of the Burden
How long did it take you to realize that your time share was actually costing you more money each year than a vacation with a nice hotel room would? Time shares take a lot of time to break even (that's if you got a decent one, where eventually you could break even), and most people don't stick it out long enough to break even.
I had the same problem; I wanted to get out of paying the yearly maintenance fees (mine was $600 every year for a week in a one bedroom apartment). The best way that I found to get rid of my time share deeds or points was simply to sell my time share online.
Why did I sell my time share online? The answer is simple; more people were able to find my time share online than if I tried to sell it another way. I live in Illinois, and my time share was for Florida, if I didn't sell my time share online, how was I supposed to sell it? I could run an advertisement in the local newspaper, but how many people who read my local paper want to buy a time share? Probably no one… I could run an advertisement in a newspaper in Fort Lauderdale, where the property was, but again, people reading the local newspaper are locals, and don't need time shares. If I sell my time share online, I can find people from all over the country who may want to buy it.
It really makes sense why people selling their time shares should try online before trying other methods to sell it. I was able to sell my time share online, and with the money that I earned (and saved from not paying this year's maintenance fees), I took a great two week vacation.
