Where to Sell Time Share Deeds, Weeks and Points
Are your friends all ragging on you because you bought a time share during your last vacation (or because you signed up for a time share presentation to get a free gift certificate to your favorite restaurant, and ended up taking home more than a free meal)? If you bought a time share, your friends are going to be curious why you wasted your money. You know that they are really good friends, because they will convince you to sell it as soon as possible. Wondering where to sell time share deeds or points can be confusing, but it doesn't have to be.
Here are some tips on where to sell time share deeds, weeks and points.
- Try a real estate agent. Chances are a real estate agent sold you the time share, why not try to get them to sell it for you. You may not get the best price for it, but it will be relatively painless.
- Sell it to your neighbors. I don't mean that you should sell it to the people that live next to you 51 weeks of the year, but sell it to the people that share your time share with. This works well if you have a prime time in your location or if you have a set week and the people before (or after) your week want to make their vacation even longer.
- Try online. There are a lot of online databases where to sell time share properties and points. The advantages of these databases are that they are usually pretty inexpensive to list your property. The downside is that you may have to do a little bit more of the leg work.
- Auction it off. There are several time share auctions, and many people even use the largest auction service, Ebay to sell time share properties and points. If you are going to do it yourself, this is probably the easiest (and perhaps even the safest) way to do it.
Your friends may be teasing you for buying a time share, but they probably won't be able to tell you where to sell time share properties and points. Don't worry, it's not difficult to get rid of your deed when you want to do it.
